Luke Johnson, EITProject Engineer
Luke grew up around the Twin Cities in Minnesota. His passion for the outdoors and natural environment started while going on annual trips to the Boundary Waters Wilderness Area with his family. Since then, utilizing the outdoors has become a big part of his life and was one primary reason for his move to Bozeman Montana after high school.
Luke attended Montana State University and pursued a Civil Engineering Bio Resource major. In his studies, he learned that there was more to Civil Engineering than bridges and buildings. After taking classes on water resources and hydrology, he made it a goal to pursue a water resource engineering career.
Before joining RDG, Luke worked at an engineering company designing infrastructure projects with Civil-3D and surveying. Luke takes his skillset from his previous job and applies them to all parts of restoration projects while learning more every day. When not at work, Luke can be found in the mountains or on the rivers skiing, fishing, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.
