RDG prepared restoration designs for five project sites on the Tongue River at the Welch Ranch Special Recreation Management Area near Sheridan, Wyoming. RDG completed site investigations and final designs for riparian buffer, side channel and streambank restoration projects aimed at improving floodplain connection, riparian vegetation conditions and streambank stability. The project designs will address floodplain function by lowering floodplain surfaces, improving side channel connections and planting woody vegetation.
